In their development, the youth of The National Golf Brussels support the social, sporting and committed golfer of tomorrow by creating a sustainable framework that allows youth (up to 18 years) to respect rules, etiquette and attention to ethical and medical values to enjoy training for both recreational and competitive golfers in an environment where friendship and club spirit play an important role.
Golf for juniors
In addition to an extensive program of competitions and activities, we also organize a training program for all juniors who are members of The National Golf Brussels for 6 months per year.
For 26 weeks per year, we take care of 1h group lessons, both on Wednesdays and on Saturdays, divided per age and per category. These lessons are included in the annual contribution. The more often you come, the faster you will make progress.
We also have our 'Futures Team'. In it all players are selected under hcp 9,4 within juniors of The National Golf Brussels as a homeclub. These will be offered an extra comprehensive program with on top of the 2h lesson per week that is already offered, also 2 extra coaching hours with our Headpro Michel Van Meerbeek.
Stage 2020
Golf stages are organised during the school holidays.
The stages are open to all Juniors born between 2002 & 2010 for boys and girls. For the kids under 10 years old, the Pro's agreement is required.
The stages are open to non members.
Next stages will happen from July 6th till July 10th (for juniors born between 2007 & 2010) and from July 13th till July 17th 2020 (for juniors born between 2002 & 2006) every week day from 09:00 & 12:00 for a minimum of 5 persons and a maximum of 12 persons.
These are the topics (“workshops”) covered during the tweet :
- Putting
- Long shots – irons
- Long shots – driver, woods & hybrids
- Short game around the green
- Bunkers
- Approach (20 to 70m)
- How to handle difficult positions/situations on the course
- Physical training & exercices (including other ball games)
- Mental coaching (preparation, concentration, confidence, attitude on the course).
All the above mentioned topics must are covered during “stages”.
Price : 100€ per week (excluding lunch)
Registration are possible via our Club Secretary, Jan Pieter Vanfraechem per email or phone or via I-golf.
The club reserves the right to cancel the training in case of insufficient registrations.
